Pepe opened the scoring with a long shot that went past through Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois after a deflection from Emiliano Insua. Madrid scored the second goal as Jese scored a goal through a smart pass from Angel Di Maria. Di Maria once again made a name for himself when he scored the third and final goal.
